About Me

Hello, and welcome to my little space on the internet 💖

I'm Hannah & I am a Small Business Owner, UK Blogger, Makeup Hoarder & Disney Enthusiast.
This blog was created in 2013 for myself with the discovery of the online Beauty Community. Since then it's become a place where I can interact with the outside world.

My Voice

Since it started, this blog will often discuss a whole host of topics from Beauty to Health. I have many different series I carry on the blog year after year.

The August Review is multiple posts during the month of August that reviews products I've used that year. These posts are mostly positive and a way to recommend things I've used for a longer time period instead of giving a first impression opinion.

Calendar Countdown is another series where I breakdown non-traditional Advent Calendars. I started Calendar Countdown as an information hub comparing the advent to its previous years in terms of design, contents and price. Then I breakdown whether it's worth the money based off that information.
Halloween With Hannah is my favourite series as it's a way for my creativity to come out during one of my favourite times of the year. I am no expert in Makeup (especially when it comes to SFX) but I want to show inexpensive looks that can be used on Adults and Children. I also post my pumpkin carvings, sweet ideas and much more.

Gift Guides. I am that person in my family and friends to say "this would be a perfect gift for..." or "we could package this up for..." and it's something that has always come naturally to me. So when I see all these different brands with various lines of gifting options for different occasions I like to put them into guides and even breakdown some of the lines and again help you find the perfect gift for that someone in your life.

Ulcerative Colitis & Stitch The Stoma

In February 2014, I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis. 6 years later in February 2020 I had stoma surgery to create Stitch. My life has changed a lot and this space has allowed me to continue having a voice.
In September 2021, it was decided that I will be having further surgery, a subtotal colectomy. More information on that to come!
You can see all health updates by clicking on My IBD Journey or the series drop down bar above.

I gained a lot more confidence at University and I thought why not? when it came to blogging publically. I am giving my opinion and what I think works well, looks nice and what makes me happy, but I want YOUR opinion too. So comment on the posts or message me on social media and let's start a discussion.

As always, I will thank you for reading 😊
