How is it different to last years?

The Body Shop have carried on for a third year, the same style of art work but they've expanded it in the most beautiful way. I like the mix of showing an indoor christmas scene with an outdoor christmas scene and this is done in the most gorgeous shades of purple. They've also kept the purple colour solely for the smallest of the Advent Calendars which is becoming a staple in distinguishing the different sizes. They have also gone back to the earlier concept of having products in individual products, but instead of a book opening box it's a trunk with a stunning pop up scene.
With no makeup items and less accessories, this still includes 12 repeated products.

Is it worth the price?

Priced at £55.00 it's another year we see a £5.00 increase but the first time we see the worth decrease. It's gone from £79.50 to £77.00 and it makes me question is the £2.50 difference because it hasn't repeated as many accessories or if it's to weigh out the cost of the lavish packaging?
At the end of the day, you are getting your money's worth and getting a lovely saving of £22.00. I like they've kept this a body and hair care only advent. It gives people who are not makeup lovers or young teenagers who may not like to wear or be allowed to wear makeup a better chance at using everything in the calendar. I would say having half the products repeated may not be as appealing to a repeat customer.

I'd love to know what you think. You can find me on FacebookTwitter and Instagram, use the hashtag #CalendarCountdown or comment below.

As always, thanks for reading...
