Operation Christmas Child 2020

With Covid-19, I was unsure whether the shoebox appeal would happen in the same ways it has before. Although England is now going into lockdown and drop off dates are to be confirmed, you can still pack a shoebox!

Offline

If you are able to get pieces before lockdown or have them ready to go, you can post your shoebox to: Operation Christmas Child, Unit 1, Junction 2 Industrial Estate, Demuth Way, Oldbury, B69 4LT. With drop off dates to be confirmed and Covid-19 infection rates going up, this is, in my opinion, the best in person way to do this. If it's not an option for you then try...

Online

Packing your shoebox online. I have a post (click here) from when I packed my boxes online as I was very poorly. This is a brilliant way if you are high risk, self isolating or just don't want to be going out as much.

What Can Go In The Shoebox

There are many things that a child would love to receive and if you click here you can find a list from Samaritan's Purse to give you some ideas. Also, if you click each year, you can see what I've previously filled shoeboxes with; 2015201620172018 & 2019.

Remember, each shoebox needs a donation of £5.00 either put into the box or pre-paid online so it is able to be sent.

Due to Covid-19, things have changed so I wanted to put some helpful links and to also give you some information if you think this is something you'd like to do another year.
