How is it different to last years?

Continuing the artistic style of last years calendar, they've opted for an indoor setting for the design this year. I have noticed that they've brought the smaller advent out in purple, the midsize in red and largest in green like last year. I do wonder if that will become a running theme for them to help distinguish each advent.
With 9 repeated products, it's taken the same approach as last year by not including makeup items but again I do feel that is still a high number of repeats. That's whilst taking into account that they have included newer hair items too. It's a book opening structure with scored sections you pierce and rip open.

Is it worth the price?

The prices for The Body Shop advents has changed up quite a bit this year. This advent is priced at £50.00, a £5.00 increase on last year, with a £79.50 worth claim, a £1.50 decrease on last year. Instead of a £36 saving it will be a £29.50 one, which is still a steal for the quality of products you get.
Again, I have to ask if this was one you purchased last year? If you are a body shop addict you may find you don't mind the repeats. If you are a new customer then with this you get a lot of variety. For those who purchased it last year and are looking for something different it may not be worth the money to you.
Monetary wise, it is worth the money, it's a solid saving and the brands reputation and product quality is good. I personally don't like the high number of repeats coupled with the absence of their christmas scent, so I'd be looking at one of the other two advents over this one.

I'd love to know what you think. You can find me on Facebook, Twitter & Instagram, use the hashtag #CalendarCountdown or comment below.

As always, thanks for reading...
