Revolution Skincare Dark Spot Corrector // The August Review

Revolution Skincare Dark Spot Corrector

This was an impulse buy when I was ordering from Beauty Bay. I had heard mixed reviews on the Revolution Skincare line as a whole but not on specific products. I have some dark spots on my face, from being unable not to pick, so I thought I'd give it a go. The product description says:
"A correcting and clarifying face serum. Struggling to get rid of dark spots and an even skin tone? We've got you covered with the Revolution Skincare Dark Spot Corrector. This complexion correcting serum contains Vitamin C to help brighten and even out skin tone, whilst also helping to reduce the appearance of post-acne pigmentation marks. Add to your skincare routine for your most flawless skin yet. Vegan, cruelty free and fragrance free."

- Lovely texture, on the runnier side but not greasy.
- Affordable.
- It doesn't counteract against anything else in my skincare routine.
- I have seen results to my more recent dark spots.
- Only need a few drops.
- Doesn't dry out the skin with use.

- Not overly fond of the pipette style bottle.

The Verdict

Dark spots are tricky, products like this will help reduce more recent ones, but spots where you keep having breakouts that you've picked at or areas as a result of acne would more than likely need in clinic treatments. You are never going to get something in a bottle that will 100% fix your skin and this is a brand that's made to be affordable. After using for a few months I have seen results but I'd target this more towards younger skin. I don't think I'll repurchase it but would recommend it for 16-24 year olds.

As always, thanks for reading...
