Revolution Skincare Blemish And Pore Refining Serum // The August Review

Revolution Skincare Blemish And Pore Refining Serum

This was another impulse buy alongside the Dark Spot Corrector that I reviewed yesterday. I had heard good things about products with niacinamide in them for pore refining but had mainly seen them advertised for "acne skin". When I saw this advertised as a pore refiner I thought to give it a go. The product description says:
"A skin-perfecting serum. Formulated with a soothing blend of ingredients, Revolution Skincare Blemish and Pore Refining Serum is a hero for oily and acne-prone skin. This gentle and lightweight treatment can be applied under makeup, enhance with niacinamide and zinc to tackle blemishes, minimise pores and prevent congestion while you get on with your day. Vegan, Cruelty-Free and Oil-Free."

Pros

- Thicker, velvet like consistency.
- Minimised the pores on my nose and chin.
- I saw results after 4 days.
- Affordable.
- Doesn't dry out the skin.

Cons

- Smell is a little off putting.

The Verdict

As I don't have acne, I didn't expect this to combat any breakouts or blemishes as I brought it solely for the pore refining reason. Although I saw some results towards those breakouts and blemishes, I couldn't say if it was this product or the glycolic serum I was using and I cannot say how it would work for someone with acne. If you are like me and get larger pores on your nose and chin, and only want to buy it for that reason, this is a brilliant product and I would 100% recommend it for that. I saw results after 4 days, I found that a drop or two for the nose and chin was all that was needed and I've already gone ahead and repurchased this! Love it.

As always, thanks for reading...
