Pixi Vitamin-C Tonic // The August Review

Pixi Vitamin-C Tonic

This was brought earlier in the year and hasn't been re-purchased since (hence the stock photo). I've picked up a few different toners/tonics/mists over the past few months to see which is going to help boost my skin. I got the smaller bottle at £10.00 and it still lasted me just shy of two months with morning and night use. The product description says:
"Do you dream of gloriously glowing, healthy skin? Then you need to introduce your skin care routine to Pixi's Vitamin-C Tonic.Instantly refreshing, this glow-giving tonic is jam-packed with citrus extracts and ferulic acid, this hard-working hero evens out skin tone, improves hydration and shields skin from free radicals. Astonishingly affordable, this is mild yet effective, making it suitable for all skin types - just apple a few drops to a cotton wool pad and sweep all over skin after cleansing (morning and evening) to gradually diminish signs of sun damage, fine lines, scarring and other imperfections."

Pros

- A little goes a long way.
- Affordable.
- Skin had a subtle glow.
- No irritation or flare up to the redness on my face.
- Smells lovely.

Cons

- Didn't see much improvement to my skin tone.

The Verdict

This is one of those products that I really liked but wanted more from, which is why I am trying others at the moment. I did find it was nice for my skin but I am still very dehydrated. I swapped out and brought the Pixi Vitamin-C serum instead so I still have vitamin C in my skincare routine. I would recommend the tonic but for someone who is 16 to around 25 and is starting to add vitamin-c to their routine.

As always, thanks for reading...
