Pixi Rose Glow Mist // The August Review

Pixi Rise Glow Mist

A more recent purchase with the warmer weather we had during lockdown, I'd heard many good things about this through the Caroline Hirons Freaks Group on Facebook. As I've mentioned I am re-evaluating my skincare routine with hydration being one of the key areas I want to improve on. This can be used instead of a toner or alongside a toner. I did try it as a toner to begin with which is what this review is based off but recently have been using it alongside the Pixi's Glow Tonic for the past 9 days. The product description says:
"A multi-purpose mist, Pixi's Rose Glow Mist is a handbag must have -its talent knows no bounds. A rose-infused sister to the brand's adored original Glow Mist, this dual-phase elixir is brimming with essential fatty acids and antioxidants to moisturise skin and protect it from harmful free radicals. Rose oil moisturises and restores, argan oil hydrates and smooths and avocado oil nourishes. Marrying affordability with efficiency, Pixi's skin care solutions have quickly acquired legions of devotees - from top beauty bloggers and editors, to die-hard customers who're totally addicted to their simple-yet-sophisticated range. Use this luscious mist before makeup, after makeup or any time you want to refresh and nourish skin."

Pros

- Smells lovely.
- One spritz will cover your face (but I do about three and spritz down my neck).
- Leaves the skin hydrated.
- Has a lovely glowing finish.
- Not sticky.
- Affordable.
- I have carried this in my bag with no leaks.
- Can be used before, after or during makeup application.

Cons

- None!

The Verdict

Becoming a new staple product in my routine, I use this that much, I think I may be addicted. I am not a summer weather person, I do enjoy a nice sunny holiday but at home I just cannot cope with the humidity so I have been spritzing this to help keep me hydrated and feeling cool. I love it for my skin, it smells gorgeous, it does not disrupt my makeup, it feels hydrating and now I've started to use it alongside a toner I feel that the hydration has upped a whole nother level. I cannot recommend this enough and I know for those who are not fans of a rose scent,  there is a glow mist, a milky hydrating mist and even a vitamin mist with orange blossom that I know will be my go to for Autumn. Brilliant product.

As always, thanks for reading...
