Nip + Fab Dragon's Blood Fix Plumping Serum & Jelly Fix Mask // The August Review

My skincare routine has had another shake up recently. I've been having a surge of breakouts because of stress and issues with my colitis and I decided to go back to Nip + Fab as I know those products have helped combat my issues before.

Click here to see their range.

Dragon's Blood Fix Extreme Plumping Serum

The website describes it as;
"Super hydrating and plumping serum. A lightweight serum that delivers an instant shot of moisture to dehydrated skin. Hyaluronic acid and delicate flower blend together for an instant hydrating effect that leaves skin feeling comforted and looking plumper with the appearance of fine lines an wrinkles reduced."

Pros

  • Is hydrating and plumping.
  • A little goes a long way.
  • Noticed my eye area looks fuller and brighter.
  • Skin feels really smooth and soft after use.

Cons

  • Is on the pricier side.

Dragon's Blood Fix Jelly Mask

The website describes it as;
"Rehydrate your skin with the new Dragon's Blood Fix Jelly Mask. This refreshing and skin awakening jelly mask is infused with a cocktail of nourishing and skin boosting ingredients, including hydrating-hero Hyaluronic Acid, as well as our iconic Dragon's Blood, which will lock in moisture, smooth and plump the skin, while reducing the appearance of wrinkles. The ultra-light, jelly consistency is very cooling and calming, with key active ingredients to soother and protect the skin. Skin will appear supple and healthy with a dewy glow."

Pros

  • Is very hydrating.
  • Skin was smooth and had that dewy glow is claims to give.
  • Had no irritation or redness after use.
  • Love the product size you get. I don't like it when jar masks only have 2-3 uses in them.
  • They gave a tip to keep it in the fridge and it is so refreshing and cooling. Especially over this hot bank holiday weekend we've had.

Cons

  • I couldn't get on very well with the consistency.
  • Another product on the pricier side.

The Verdict

I brought these two in the £5 sale as a top up for my dry skin when the UK was having one of it's hottest summers.
The serum I was using every other day and I found my eye area was looking so much plumper. I had really bad sunken under eyes from poor sleep and stress and the appearance side was helped with this. It is (at it's RRP) on the pricier side and although I do recommend it, I wouldn't buy it unless it was on offer.
The Jelly Mask I probably won't buy again. It is refreshing, cooling and Eco-Friendly being a jar mask but I just couldn't get along with the consistency. I found it very messy and hard to put on evenly. I have seen they do a sheet mask version of the mask which I may try next.

Have you tried the Dragon's Blood Fix range? Are you a fan of Jelly Masks?

As always, thanks for reading...
