The Palette & Swatches
The Morphe website describes the palette as:
“Unleash Your Inner Artist; When James Charles says you can create anything, he means it. For. Real. The colour never ends with this full spectrum of 39 dialed-up, deeply pigmented shades. With four rows of stunning colour combos and one a row of super-sized shades, you’ll be ready to take on any look you can dream up. So go on and go for it. And don’t hold back.”
From left to right; Social Blade, Daddy, Cape Cod, Cola, A Cappella, Escape, Single & Skip.
Pros
- Such an inclusive and beautiful spectrum of colours.
- Affordable; 39 Eyeshadows for £39! That's a mind-blowing price point.
- Good pigmentation with little to no fallout.
- With Matte, Metallic and Shimmer shades there is finishing choice without sacrificing colour choice. By that I mean that some palettes can have one deep shade and in that you only get one finish option.
- Versatile; I've seen the 7 larger core shades be used for highlight and contour.
Cons
- None!
The Verdict
This is an amazing palette. Named the "artistry" palette you don't have to be the best at makeup to purchase this. It will give you every makeup situation you can think of. From the basic of day to night looks to more special occasions like weddings and even for seasonal occasions like Halloween & Christmas.I've seen this used across the spectrum on Instagram and although I do enjoy more creative looks you see from cosplayer's or makeup artists more natural looks stand out too.
I 100% recommend this palette to anyone and everyone. I feel that those who are stuck in their ways with makeup may feel like they won't use all the colours but trust me that it is that enticing, that you will get use from this. I am not brilliant at makeup but with this palette I've been a lot more creative and I feel drawn to practice more.
Have you tried the James Charles x Morphe Palette? Is this something you would purchase?
