How is it different to last years?

This year Yankee Candle has kept the book / fold out style for the advent which I think works better from a consumer point of view. Previous years shapes were gorgeous but they felt overly complex and I found reviews commenting they were not very sturdy. Keeping the gold as an accent colour in the design they've complimented it with white and silver which feels a lot more festive than last years red and gold design.
There are 6 votive scent repeats and 1 tea light scent repeat but it does include all 4 new scents in their 2018 Christmas range as well as an exclusive votive holder.

Is it worth the price?

Keeping the same price at £34.99 you will be getting your moneys worth for this advent.
Breaking it down; the tea lights price at £6.99, the votives price at £23.88 which gives you £30.87 worth of candles. With a votive holder priced a £4.99; that totals £35.86. The advent they released in 2016 was full of repeat scents and over 50% of its contents were tea lights. The advent they released in 2017 had changed to feature 50% of tea lights and 50% of votives with minimal repeats. Looking at this years advent, although you are getting a few more repeats, you get an extra days gift in the votive holder. In my opinion this is better as you pay the same price for an extra item than pay for exclusive content.

What are you thoughts on this advent by Yankee Candle? Is this an advent you would purchase?

I am doing another month of #CalendarCountdown, I'd love to know what you think of all the different advents and you can find me on Facebook, Twitter & Instagram. Use the hashtag #CalendarCountdown if you have one of these advents or if you have your own way of counting down to Christmas.

As always, thanks for reading...
