How is it different to last years?

With 8 repeated products this year they've gone with a very Victorian style design and the graphics and detailing is stunning. I also like the wreath boarder and finish as it makes it look really vintage. There is some brilliant aged whiskys with this advent and one that contains the most diverse aged range I've seen.

Is it worth the price?

This is an advent that although I still wouldn't personally purchase I can see it as being more worth the price than last years. Priced at £159.95 this is £10.00 cheaper than last years. My opinion on repeats in advents can vary with it's situation and in this case they have included repeats but they haven't made you pay any more on the advent and included more aged whiskys so it balances it out well. As this is a more indulgent buy I would really think on whether the person you would gift it too would get use from it all.

What do you think about repeats in the advent? Is this one by Douglas Laing appealing to you?

I am doing another month of #CalendarCountdown, I'd love to know what you think of all the different advents and you can find me on FacebookTwitter & Instagram. Use the hashtag #CalendarCountdown if you have one of these advents or if you have your own way of counting down to Christmas.

As always, thanks for reading...
