Lego City Advent Calendar // Calendar Countdown

Contents

- Each day brings a different surprise! There’s trucks, robots, rockets, Christmas trees, a snowman and a coast guard helicopter and much more besides! Open each door to reveal the surprise for the day.
- Features 24 different items including buildings, vehicles, seasonal items and mini-figures.

How is it different to last years?

They've gone for a Christmas window dressing layout this year which is an unusual choice but something you haven't seen before. Featuring pieces reflecting the season and not just Christmas themed or patterned ones, this will integrate well into other Lego City sets. Again there is one repeat, the Santa figure. After a couple of years you may have occurred a few but I think it's good to always have one included for first time buyers. It would be nice for Lego to have the choice to swap it out in store if you already have one.

Is it worth the price?

At the same price of £19.99 it again is worth the money. The sets that Lego have can be £15 with 20-30 pieces to create the side of a house or a vehicle. The vehicles you get here may be smaller but it gives you variety, any child looking to get into Lego would benefit from this as a starter kit.

What are your thoughts on the Lego Advent Calendars? Do you prefer the City advent out of the three they release?

I am doing another month of #CalendarCountdown, I'd love to know what you think of all the different advents and you can find me on FacebookTwitter & Instagram. Use the hashtag #CalendarCountdown if you have one of these advents or if you have your own way of counting down to Christmas.

As always, thanks for reading...
