How is it different to last years?
This is the first year that the Disney Store has released a pin advent and it was quite a surprise when I saw this in their Christmas range. In a very similar style to the tsum tsum and animator advent, the pins are collectables and feature characters in a Christmas theme, something you wouldn't get outside the advent. I love the pop up tree to hang the pins on too, each day opened creates a gorgeous display.
Is it worth the price?
£149 is a very steep price and I'm unsure whether it will be as popular as the animator and tsum tsum advent. The Disney Store sells pins in sets of 3 for around £15 so getting 24 for £149 means you'll be paying more than you would usually for 24 pins across 8 sets. I do feel that yes being limited edition and being Christmas themed makes it stand out but I personally wouldn't say it was worth the money.
Are you a pin collector? Do you think The Disney Store will do something like this again?
I am doing another month of #CalendarCountdown, I'd love to know what you think of all the different advents and you can find me on Facebook, Twitter & Instagram. Use the hashtag #CalendarCountdown if you have one of these or if you have your own way of counting down to Christmas.
