Ursula // The Little Mermaid // Halloween With Hannah

I'm so excited to share my first look for this years #HalloweenWithHannah.

As you know I mainly do a makeup look and pair it with a wig for effect as I don't have the space to store a variety of costumes. This year Asda have done some really affordable Disney Villain costumes and I've been wanting to do some Disney Villain looks for the past two years but found that the wigs were hard to obtain or over £30 each. I saw this White/Grey Lolita Wig on Ebay for £14 and instantly thought of Ursula.

Products Used

- Elmer Purple Glue Stick
- Lottie London Ready Set Go Translucent Powder
- Snazaroo Face Paint in Purple
- Rimmel Eyeliner Pencil in Brown
- ELF Eyeshadow in Grey and Blue
- Soap & Glory Supercat Liquid Eyeliner in Black
- Rimmel Exagerate Eyeliner in Black
- Maybelline Sensational Mascara in Black
- Eylure False Lashes in Volume 083
- NYX Lip Liner in Red
- L'Oreal Infallible Lip Lacquer in Red

I used a lot of reference images from Google to achieve this but I also had drag makeup in my mind as a lot of the female Disney Villains seem to emulate that style.

Step One

I started by gluing down my Eyebrows and using a Brow Brush to make sure they stuck flat to the skin. I used three layers making sure each one was dry before applying the next. I finished by pressing down some translucent powder over them to absorb any leftover moisture.

Step Two

I then used a combination of foundation brushes and sponges to apply the face paint. I would apply it to the skin with a brush and then buffer it out with a sponge. A little tip I found that the best sponge to use was a dish washing one!

Step Three

When dry I started sketching out the eye makeup and eyebrows with a brown eyeliner before filling in the blue and grey eyeshadow and going over the lines with a black liquid liner.

Step Four

I lined my water line and top lash line with a black kohl eyeliner and applied two coats of mascara to the top and bottom lashes. I decided then to move onto lining and filling the lips as I wanted to mascara to dry.

Step Five

I applied the lashes and waited for them to dry before applying a very thin line of black liquid liner to my top eyelid.

Step Six

I fixed any touches or applied any more face paint or eyeshadow that was required and finished with a black spot below the outer corner of my lips, just like Ursula has.

I'd love to see if you recreate this, use the hashtag #HalloweenWithHannah on Twitter & Instagram or feel free to comment below ^.^

As always, thanks for reading...
